Regeneration Team
Introduction
Tobwabba Bush & land restorations is a unique land management team which operates from the Forster Local Aboriginal Land Council located on the mid north coast of NSW.
A holistic approach is taken to all work undertaken utilising the traditional and contemporary knowledge of the team with a commitment to current best practises
The team currently undertakes contract work throughout the state of NSW.

- Department of Land & water conservation
- State Forests of NSW.
Services available
- A team of 10 highly trained personnel.
- Restoration & rehabilitation of remnant vegetation and highly disturbed sites eg mining leases.
- Establishment of hardwood plantations
- Establishment of nutrient sinks within local catchment areas.
- Silviculture of hardwood & softwood plantations.
- Weed control of various plant communities including environmental sensitive areas
- Erosion control
- Track construction & fencing
- Vegetation assessments
- Management plans
- Restoration and protection of a significant Aboriginal Sites
Plant Nursery
- Collection & cleaning of local provident seed.
- Germination of collected seed
- Supply of bush tucker plants from the Worimi nation.
The team has a range of equipment necessary for land management services
including vehicles, weed spraying equipment, planting equipment,
first-aid kits, mobile telephones, two way radios, OH&S safety gear and
some basic nursery equipment.
